Coached Twelve-Week Block

Body Transformation

A coached twelve-week block of training and nutrition written for people whose day into Liverpool Street is bounded at both ends by a train, rather than for people who live fifteen minutes from the gym.

The short answer

What a body transformation is

Most body transformation programmes are written for someone who lives nearby. Four or five sessions a week, conditioning at the weekend, and a Sunday afternoon free for cooking. Sold to somebody travelling in from Chelmsford or Bishop’s Stortford, that plan does not survive week three, and the person it failed usually concludes they were not disciplined enough.

They were not undisciplined. They were given a plan that ignored a 06:00 alarm at one end of the day and a platform at the other. This page sets out the version that accounts for it: fewer sessions, weighted towards the morning, dense enough to be worth the trip, and portable enough that the weekend still counts from thirty miles away.

A twelve-week block at a glance

  • Session length60 or 90 minutes
  • Typical frequency2 to 3 sessions a week
  • Block length12 weeks, reviewed at the end
  • Club hours06:00 to 20:00 weekdays
  • Saturday07:00 to 14:00, closed Sunday

What you get

What a commuter block includes

  • Built around two reliable sessions a week rather than four aspirational ones
  • Morning-weighted, because the evening session is the one a delay takes
  • Full-body format, so losing a session costs half your volume and not a muscle group
  • Weekend work designed to run at home in Essex or Hertfordshire
  • Planned around the weeks that engineering works will take out
  • Twelve weeks with a start date, an end date and a review, rather than a rolling subscription

How it works

How the twelve weeks run

Getting started

Wear clothing you can lift in and flat-soled shoes, and bring them with you rather than planning to go home first. Before the first session, note any current or past injury, anything you take regularly, and what your week genuinely looks like including the trains you catch, so the plan is written against real constraints. Avoid a heavy meal in the hour beforehand.

During your sessions

After your sessions

Each session ends with what to log and what to watch before the next one. Progress is reviewed on a fixed cadence across the twelve weeks rather than chased session to session, and training load, protein intake and sleep are looked at together whenever the measurements stop moving. Sleep is reviewed carefully here, because travel shortens it at both ends of the day.

Body transformation questions
from people who commute in

How many sessions a week do I need if I commute in?

Two coached sessions a week, held for the full twelve weeks, is the realistic floor for most people travelling in on a main line. Three is a good month. Four looks decisive when it is written down and is usually abandoned by week three, which costs more than starting at two would have.

Can I train before work at Liverpool Street?

Yes. UNTIL Liverpool Street opens at 06:00 Monday to Friday, and the morning slot is the one this site recommends building the block around. It is finished before the day has had a chance to interfere with it, which is why attendance in the morning is consistently higher than in the evening.

What time does the club close?

It closes at 20:00 Monday to Friday, and runs 07:00 to 14:00 on Saturday. Sunday it is closed, and bank holiday hours are 07:00 to 15:00. The weekday close is the reason an evening session has to start by about 18:30, which is a tighter deadline than most people expect.

I travel in from Essex. Is the weekend session realistic here?

Not in this district, and the plan should say so rather than assume it. Saturday closing at 14:00 and no Sunday opening means weekend work is designed to run at home instead. That is a programming decision made at the start, not a compromise arrived at once the block is already failing.

What happens when my train is cancelled and I miss a session?

The block absorbs it. Sessions are written to be substitutable and the week has a defined minimum that can be run without the club, so a lost session changes the sequence rather than breaking the progression. Missed weeks are expected across twelve weeks and are planned for rather than treated as a failure.

How much does a body transformation block cost?

Rates are set by the individual coach and depend on session length and the size of the block, so no single figure here would be honest. This site sets no prices and delivers no coaching. Current rates are confirmed on enquiry, in writing, before you commit to anything.

Do you have before-and-after photographs?

No, and there will not be any. No client has consented to have their photograph published on this site, and consent for a body image is never something to assume. Borrowed or stock results would misrepresent what your own twelve weeks is likely to produce, so the page describes the change instead.

Where exactly is the training?

At UNTIL Liverpool Street, 280 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 4RB, on the City side of the station and a short walk from the concourse. The station is served by the Elizabeth line, four Underground lines, London Overground and National Rail services into Essex, Hertfordshire and beyond.
